Domitek Moves to Its New Headquarters

Downtown Worcester Renaissance Includes a New Neighbor

Due to growth and expansion, Domitek is moving for the third time in the past decade to its new location at 40 Southbridge Street in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts.

The new space will allow Domitek to continue to provide excellent service to its clients as well as expand its services. For example, Domitek has recently enhanced its security services to include compliance, cyber security, access control and other needed certifications that are required for various industries. Domitek prides itself in providing innovative solutions and keeping up-to-date with the constant changes in IT to ensure that its clients are getting the engaged, proactive IT provider that they expect and deserve.

In celebration of the grand opening of its new headquarters, Domitek held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 22nd. Guests included valued clients, municipal government officials, family, friends and several of our new downtown business neighbors.

Close to 100 people participated in the event with Worcester’s City Manager, Edward Augustus, Jr. speaking about the city’s Downtown Renaissance, and how having Domitek, an IT service and solution provider, fits into that renaissance. “Libis came to the United States as a young man, attending local schools, earning a degree, and then started his own business. This man right here is a true American story,” City Manager Augustus said as he pointed to Mr. Bueno.

Tim Murray, President of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, echoed the city manager’s comments adding that he was fortunate to have Mr. Bueno as an active member of the Worcester business community and a board member of the Chamber. “Libis and Domitek represent the good things that are working in Worcester,” he said.

Libis Bueno, Founder and CEO of Domitek, greeted the assembled guests and thanked everyone for attending. Mr. Bueno spoke about the need for all business leaders, whether from public or private sectors, to continue to collaborate and help each other within the community. He noted that many people throughout his life have contributed to his success; including everyone in attendance that day. He urged everyone to continue to foster this atmosphere of collaboration within the Worcester community.

After the speaking portion of the celebration, tours were given inside the new office space. A “door prize” drawing was offered to anyone in attendance that chose to participate. The lucky winner of our Give-Away contest of “Dinner and a Show” was Jeffrey Ugalde, of Strategic Accounting and Tax Service. He won a $50 gift certificate to 111 Chop House/Via/Sole Proprietor and a $100 gift certificate to the Hanover Theatre, our new neighbor.

Finally, Mr. Bueno noted that he was excited about where the company was heading. “This new space gives us the flexibility to continue to do what we do best: provide affordable and innovative IT solutions to small and medium-sized companies. We are well placed geographically to serve our current and future clients in Massachusetts and greater New England.”
