"Growing up as an inner-city youth, I was lucky to be part of the Youth Center once I graduated from college. It was important for me to give back to the community."

Libis Bueno,
Founder of Domitek

The Work We Do

  • Domitek organizes an annual essay writing contest for 7th and 8th graders in Worcester to share how technology has changed their lives. We then award the winners with new laptops to help them advance academically and build vital career skills.
  • We provide co-op and internship opportunities for students in Quinsigamond Community College, Salter College, Worcester State University, Job Corps of Grafton, and Worcester Technical High School, enabling them to learn and improve their technical and customer service skills.
  • We donate thousands of hours of IT services to several nonprofit organizations, including Centro Las Americas, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Worcester Youth Center.
  • Domitek’s founder, Libis Bueno, works with the Youth Center to monitor and maintain their technology, as well as act as a mentor for the young people, teaching them computer and design skills.
