DomitekBDR is designed to be fully managed both locally and over the web via DomitekBDR’s secure web interface. The inter-face provides easy access and control over the full range of DomitekBDR’ new features and diagnostics. There is no need to RDP into a server or core.

Because DomitekBDR backup files are .vmdk files, they can be booted instantly for virtualization on the local appliance for rapid on-site restore. The DomitekBDR virtualized environment is the ideal test bed for patches and new applications. In this virtual environment, you can identify conflicts or problems without impacting production resources.

DomitekBDR is the only solution available that offers instant off-site virtualization. DomitekBDR transmits redundant .vmdk backups to two secure bi-costal data centers located in the US. The off-site .vmdk files are ready to be booted or mounted at anytime, so no time is spent waiting for file conversion. The process is entirely automated and takes only a moment.

DomitekBDR provides unprecedented control when it comes to transferring data off-site. An entirely new sync method allows you to choose how frequently each agent syncs updates off-site. It is no longer required that every local backup be copied to the cloud. In addition, DomitekBDR performs off-site syncs in par-allel, meaning that large changes to one agent will not affect the syncs of other agents.

With the available Lights Out Management (LOM) option, you can control your DomitekBDR remotely even when the device is off. The LOM card provides a dedicated network interface that allows you to perform hardware diagnostics and gives you remote keyboard, video and mouse access.
LOM gives you control and peace of mind even when the device is thousands of miles away.
